About us

A hub for people who make live television work

fizzbrix brings together directors, engineers and designers who have spent years in UK galleries and want to share what keeps a live show steady.

Training television studio used for live production courses

Our story

fizzbrix started as a handful of weekend workshops for regional newsroom crews who wanted to understand the whole studio chain, not just their own position. Word spread, and the workshops grew into a full programme of courses.

Today we teach studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and the production processes that make live news, interviews and entertainment shows dependable.

What we stand for

  • Practice over theory

Most of every course day is spent on the studio floor, not in a classroom.

  • Reliability first

We teach the habits that stop small faults becoming off-air moments.

  • Crew mindset

Great shows come from people who listen to each other under pressure.

  • Honest feedback

Every rehearsal is recorded and reviewed with clear, kind, specific notes.
