Who Operates the Site and Acceptance of These Terms

fizzbrix operates this website as a professional hub offering courses and resources on live television production. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site immediately. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and fizzbrix under the laws of the United Kingdom.

Eligibility and Permitted Use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase courses. The site is intended for individuals and organisations based in the United Kingdom who wish to develop skills in studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and reliable production processes. You may use the materials only for personal or internal professional development. Commercial redistribution or resale of course content is not permitted without prior written consent from fizzbrix.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with its security features, upload malicious code, or use automated tools to scrape content. Harassment of other users, posting offensive material, or misrepresenting your identity is strictly forbidden. Any breach may result in immediate suspension and legal action where appropriate under UK law.

Accounts, Submissions and User Content

When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You may submit assignments or feedback as part of course activities. By submitting content you grant fizzbrix a non-exclusive licence to use it for improving services and delivering courses. You remain responsible for ensuring your submissions do not infringe third-party rights and comply with UK data protection requirements.

Ownership of Site Content, Trademarks and Permitted Limited Use

All text, images, videos, course structures and other materials on the site are owned by fizzbrix or its licensors. You may download course materials for your own use but must not copy, modify or distribute them publicly. Trade marks such as the fizzbrix logo may not be used without express permission. Limited quotation for criticism or review is allowed under fair dealing provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Third-Party Services and Links

The site may contain links to external platforms for payment processing, video hosting or supplementary resources. These links are provided for convenience only. fizzbrix does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, security or availability of third-party services and accepts no liability for any issues arising from their use.

Availability, Changes, Suspension and Termination

fizzbrix strives to keep the site available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate accounts or services at any time for operational reasons, suspected breaches or legal requirements. Changes to courses or site features will be notified via email or site announcements where practicable.

Disclaimers Subject to Mandatory Consumer Law

Course content is provided for educational purposes and reflects professional practices at the time of publication. fizzbrix does not warrant that the techniques described will produce specific commercial results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or UK GDPR.

Limitation of Liability

Subject to the paragraph above, fizzbrix’s total liability for any claim arising from use of the site or courses shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to indirect or consequential losses including loss of profits, data or business opportunities.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify fizzbrix against any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your submissions or your misuse of the site, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Governing Law, Courts and Consumer Dispute Rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts. You retain the right to refer disputes to an alternative dispute resolution body or the courts under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Severability, Waiver, Changes and Contact Route

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. fizzbrix may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions please contact us using the form on the Contacts page or write to Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire HP9 1LG. You may also telephone 01494 671234 or email info@nfts.co.uk.
